Severance: Blade of Darkness focuses on melee combat and exploration in a rich world. Play as one of four classes as you battle monsters and orcs and skeletons and other opponents using a variety of weapons. The four characters start their adventure in different locations, but ultimately go along the same route. The ultimate goal of the game Severance: Blade of Darkness is to get the sword of Ianna kill the evil necromancer Dal Gurak, then descend into the abyss for the final confrontation with the Child of Chaos. It is easier to gain sword-wielding Ianna power by the blessing of the goddess. To reach the magic sword, players must ensure that they have amassed six well hidden magical runic tablets before entering the Tower of Dal Gurak.
