The game begins with a bounty hunter, known only as the Stranger, the various Outlaws and criminals capture to try to raise funds for a mysterious operation. Later, he hears the story of a village of creatures called Grubbs who is tormented by a demon. The city was protected by a race of creatures called the Steef, but they are off.
